Painting with Eudes

Jill and I
Eudes Correia is a brilliant Brazilian artist, now living in Lisbon. He started very young and trained as a graphic designer and illustrator but currently devotes his time to watercolour. He is Brand ambassador for Winsor & Newton in Europe.
His subjects are often ordinary people who travel through life un-noticed. He records and defines their history with his sensitive renditions, turning his accurate observation and technique into beautiful paintings.
Eudes has excelled on the International watercolour stage and has participated in numerous exhibitions world-wide. As a Master of watercolour techniques with a large following of fans around the world he rightfully deserves his place in the International Watercolour Masters Exhibition England.

Painting with Alvaro

Flamboyant, passionate artist Alvaro Castagnet is one of the world’s great watercolor masters with a growing list of achievements every year as his body of work flourishes and he pursues exciting directions. Alvaro has never ceased to develop and progress his art, as it evolves from vividly painted everyday scenes to almost abstract gestural swathes of pure color.
With Alvaro Castagnet in Winchester
A plein air painting weekend in Winchester with Alvaro Castagnet. I enjoyed his tutelage, his humour and his genersity of spirit. A weekend never to be forgotten.

Running With Brushes

A Care for Casualties fund raising project
I once met a fellow artist called Vandy Massey very briefly a few years ago at Patchings Art Festival in Nottingham and have followed her paintings and travels on Facebook ever since. Recently I came across a charity she has started called ‘Running with Brushes’ which supports the Care for Casualties Appeal, ring-fenced within The Rifles Regimental Trust and specifically to care for those regimental families affected by the conflict in Iraq and Afghanistan. You can read all about it here Having personal family connections Vandy has pledged to paint and sell 1000 small original watercolour paintings and has since enlisted many artists from around the world to help her. So far she has raised over £6000. I have sent her three of my paintings to help towards her goal of £10000.
